Dapat kahit magaling ka (o kahit feeling mo lang magaling ka), humble ka pa rin.
Dapat kahit alam mo na tama ka (o feeling mo lang tama ka), refrain from rubbing it in.
Mahirap maging humble - lalo na sa panahon ngayon na freedom of speech is highly encouraged.
Mahirap maging humble - lalo na pag ang kausap mo deserves to be "put in his right place"
Pero minsan, ito ang pinaka mabigat na panlaban sa mga taong nakakairita, nakakainis at talaga namang gusto mong sabunutan, kaliskisan at palu-paluin ng makapal na libro sa ulo (yung hardbound ha!).
Sabi nga, "A fight involves another person". Hindi ka pwedeng makipag away sa sarili mo... unless na lang split personality ka.

this kinda reminds me of a meeting we had with an advertiser the other day where someone suggested to make a story out of...the life of a pimple. then somebody said, as if correcting the previous speaker, "the life AND DEATH of a pimple." naisip ko, ang gandang animated short film. ano angst ng pimple? i asked my seatmate. palabas pa lang siya kinaiinisan niya. fifteen minutes of fame. overnight sensation, flash in the pan. ano conflict: pimple against man. or para mas malalim: pimple against itself.
