I texted anak to ask if she wanted oreo strawberry cookies & cream ice cream.

She replied: "cookies and cream"

So, when i got home, i showed her this and teased her about making a choice.

She matter-of-frankly told me: "eh akala ko di ka lang marunong gumamit ng comma!"

Talking behind someone's back

Saw this today... Got me to thinking...

Delusions.

It burns. When one has set one's mind to getting what one has so loudly harped about and it does not happen.

It burns. When the thing one has been waiting for a year happens to someone else.

It burns. When one felt entitled and realizes that it was a misplaced notion. 

It burns, I know, but it is not an excuse to  find someone else to blame for your failure. If only you worked harder, took extra effort, and actually did something for you to deserve what you thought yoi deserved.

It was not taken from you. It was not yours to begin with.  Stop deluding yourself.
