This is way too late to post... nag summer vacation na at pasukan na ulit, but what the heck. Gail finished 4 years of preschool (nursery, junior kinder, senior kinder, advanced casa) and she deserves a post for completing 4 years of fun and play... and some serious learning on the side (wink wink)
In her school, there are no top students. Every child is recognized. Lahat sila magagaling. Lahat sila matatalino. Nakakatuwa, kse walang competition - the kids develop their character based on their own capabilities - not based on what they can (or cannot) do better than their schoolmates.
Gail at 6 years old writes pretty legible calligraphy (dikit-dikit ika nga). She can work with numbers up to hundreds of thousands (millions na yata iyon?). She knows the continents and can identify them on the map. She can identify flags of various countries. Dami na nyang alam! I fear that she knows more stuff than I do.
Kaya her graduation is really special. She has learned so much and yet she is not "education harassed". Hindi sya yung batang who spends the whole day in school, the rest of the afternoon with a tutor with no time to goof around and enjoy childhood.
May KULIT parin sya!!
