I was pestering anak about the results of her quarter exams.
me: " ano grade mo? mababa siguro ano? "
anak: " may one hundred kaya ako! "
i happily said : " talaga?! may one hundred ka? "
anak, smiling sheepishly, tells me: "oo may one hundred ako. three hundred pa nga yun nung saturday eh! "
she was teasing me about the 300 pesos i borrowed from her over the weekend!
